Moorfield House offers all modern day amenities, tastefully integrated into the style of the Victorian period. The pitch pine woodwork in the hallway has been stripped of layers of paint to reveal its former splendour, the front door still retains its original etched glass.
Throughout the house you will find a selection of beautifully hand crafted tapestries and embroideries.
The residents' lounge with rich red walls, gilt-framed pictures, high ceilings and original fireplace is purposely free from a television set, thus allowing conversation to flow or a quiet spot to be found.
Whether catching up on your reading or to just contemplate the day's events, the comfortable sofas are just waiting to supply the perfect end to your busy day.
There is a selection of Speyside Malt Whiskies, which can be sampled in front of the crackling open fire.
Each bedroom is individually furnished with different tartans.
Bold use of wall colours and fabrics all tastefully combine to create an air of comfort and luxury.
Five of our bedrooms have en-suite shower rooms and one has a bathroom, all have flat screen satellite TV, clock/radio alarm, hairdrier and welcome tray.
For those who don't like stairs, we have a double bedroom on the ground floor.
