About our guesthouse
Moorfield House was built in the late 1800s and retains much of original Victorian features. Over the last nine years, Gillian and Harvey have tastefully added all modern amenities for the comfort of their guests without compromising the period splendour of the property.
People from all over the world have enjoyed the luxuries of this fine guesthouse, and come back year after year.
"We found Moorfield House by sheer luck whilst visiting the spectacular Boat of Garten golf course (dubbed the Gleneagles of the north) and immediately fell in love with both the area and the stunning Victorian villa. It has been our home since 2003.
"This is our passion. Whether it's just one night for bed and breakfast, or you stay for longer and sample our wines, whisky and local produce, we'll take care of you and make you feel at home."
